The Lomonosov Factory was founded
in 1744 in the reign of Tzarina Elizabeth daughter of Tsar Peter the
Great and was one of the first to start Porcelain Production in Europe.
Originally the factory supplied exclusively the needs of the Russian
Royal Family with hand painted dinner services, vases , sculptures etc.
Everything what the factory is producing nowadays is still individually
modeled and painted by skilful sculptors and artists.
