Yaroslavl Majolica

Yaroslavl Majolica (an earthenware body covered with tin and lead glazes). The figurines are handmade and hand-painted in the City of Yaroslavl (which stands on Volga River and was founded not later than the year 1010.) Each piece is made from earthenware and goes through six days of different firings, glazings, decorating  and inspection to ensure the highest standard of quality (Majolica).
